ordinary people.

Evidence-based programs designed by active EMTs — delivered in plain language for people with no medical background. Every session is free and open to all.

Cardiac Arrest & CPR

Hands-only CPR and AED use — two skills that take under an hour and can triple survival rates in sudden cardiac arrest.

Stroke Recognition

Learn FAST and what to do in the minutes before EMS arrives. Time is brain — every second counts.

Diabetic Emergencies

Recognize hypo- and hyperglycemia, respond safely, and know when to call 911. Designed for families and coworkers.

Seizure First Aid

What to do — and what not to do. We bust dangerous myths and build calm, confident response skills.

Choking Response

The Heimlich maneuver for adults, children, and infants — with hands-on mannequin practice included.

Anaphylaxis & EpiPen

Recognize severe allergic reactions and use an epinephrine auto-injector with confidence and clarity.

Why it matters

The first responder is almost never a paramedic.

When a cardiac arrest or stroke happens, the person nearest the victim is a spouse, a coworker, or a stranger. The gap between collapse and EMS arrival averages 7–10 minutes. Trained bystanders fill that gap — and that gap is the difference between life and death.

Our programs are designed by active EMTs and built around what they've seen on the job. Every course is free, every lesson is practical, and no medical background is required.

Our story

Student-Founded. Community-Driven.

EEI was co-founded by Aaron Choi and Ian Oak, two juniors from Northern Valley Regional High School who believe life-saving education should be free and accessible to every community.

Ian brings firsthand emergency response experience as a certified EMT, while Aaron leads outreach, operations, and community partnerships. Together, they are building practical programs for schools, workplaces, houses of worship, and neighborhood centers.
